Welcome to the premiere episode of Notes from the Aisle Seat, a podcast featuring news and information about the arts in northern Chautauqua County NY, sponsored by the 1891 Fredonia Opera House. Your host is Tom Loughlin, SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor and Chair Emeritus of Theatre and Dance at SUNY Fredonia.

This episode features an interview with Mr. Rick Davis, Executive Director of the 1891 Fredonia Opera House, who talks us through all the changes that have taken place during the pandemic closure over the past 18 months. Also featured is an interview with Ekstasis Duo, Eliran Avni and Natasha Farny, who will be performing "...From the Shadows," featuring gems from lesser known composers such as Alma Mahler, George Walker, and others, on September 25th.
